Curt doesn’t know I’m doing this, so this’ll just be our little secret.

Since what should be today’s new strip won’t be up until tomorrow on account of me being sick yesterday, I thought I’d share this little bit of business I found.

To answer Brian’s question about our latest comic, yes, that is a piece of framed Superman artwork in the background of the second panel.

It’s not just any piece of Superman art though, it’s this piece of Superman art..

My buddy Evan "Doc" Shaner did this incredible watercolor piece of my favorite subject as a surprise gift for me.

As you can imagine, this made for a very memorably exciting trip to the mailbox.

The good “Doc” is basically one of the nicest guys it is possible to know as far as I’m concerned, and you’d be doing yourself a favor if you checked out his blog for more of his great art, including his incredible Flash Fridays!

I accidentally left the file for today’s comic (a preview of which you can see above) on my work computer.

So, to make it up to you, I am going to share a thing we did for Fused Film quite a while back that you may or may not have seen.

Perhaps you have managed to forget it, but a terrible movie of “The Spirit” was made last year.

We made up a movie we would rather see..

Hopefully there are a few MST-ies amongst our readership.

I drew this for Chris Sims (http://www.the-isb.com/) at HeroesCon 2009 and since he didn’t like it enough to blog about it, I figured I might as well.

Curt wrote the word bubble all the way from France.
It says, "Hope my complexion doesn’t increase my chances for skin cancer."
