Cakes
Peeta’s cake decorating skills are certainly useful in a game of death against the gingerbread witch from Hansel and Gretel. Think about it, dude’s all hiding in her house from her and puts some frosting on his lip and some gum drops in his eyes and he’s all “Hey, I’m the gingerbread man, I don’t know where that white boy went.”

Fables suggests that witch is named Frau Totenkinder, but Hansel and Gretel is based off of a much older Slovak story Vasilisa the beautiful. That witch is The Baba Yaga.

“Frau Totenkinder” isn’t really a name, it’s literally just “Mrs. Babyeater.”

You will need:One cake mix (or your own cake mix from scratch) but I
find for these Halloween cupcakes it is easier to use a mix and spend the time on
the icing and decoration. An expert suggestion for you is
that you can create a beautiful cupcake tower too.
The cakes themselves are incredibly easy to make, but often home bakers struggle with the rich, buttercream topping.
