Cue theme music!

In case you need a little context for where the idea for this comic came from: click here, though I don’t think it really matters all that much.

I think we’ve finally done it. It’s all been leading up to this. This is truly the distilled essence of LBFA.

Imagine you’re watching Adult Swim (or some other channel that shows cartoons with cursing) and a show starts with Ghost Rider running around, fire pouring out of his dick, screaming, “Where are my dick pills?!”

Cut to cartoon Curt and Chris high-fiving in the manner you see above.

Then the Let’s Be Friends Again: The Series theme song starts playing.

And it sounds like this..

Is this or is this not is your new favorite song?! IT IS!

It was written and recorded by my oldest friend in the world (which is to say I’ve known him since I was 5, not that he is hell of old), Corey Smithmier and another friend I’ve known not quite so long, but for a good long while, Danny Stanford.

I’d link you to their website(s), but they don’t have one, but they are working on a full album of Let’s Be Friends Again inspired music which will include this, the “Let’s Be Friends Again: The Series Theme Song” and a lot of other amazing music that we hope you will want to hear, and they hope you will want to purchase.

More details as they present themselves, but let us know what you think, so that we can tell them how much you love it.

Oh, and Part Two of our Comics, Everybody! on Superman went up yesterday at ComicsAlliance, so please go check that out and like it and +1 it and comment on how you’re disappointed we didn’t say anything about “rocks” and whatever all else it is that you do.

I don’t know if we say it enough, but we really do appreciate all the support you give us and love you show and all that. We are very thankful and grateful. #sincerity

True Story: Before I quit my job to do this and I was incredibly miserable most of the time, I’d often have to listen to that song multiple times throughout the day to make it through.

This is the story they should adapt for the inevitable LBFA movie. This, without context.

If you don’t all listen to that song 10 or 12 times and appreciate how awesome it is and how much work those dudes put into it, I will.. be very upset.

There are sleigh bells in it. Sleigh bells.

So I’m not sure if you guys live anywhere near Reno, but if they wanted time in a studio FO FREE, I work in one and am totally able to do free hours for good causes. I’m gonna sling an email your way, just in case it’d be something that’d interest them/be possible.

It took me clicking back, like, 8 times to realize he said “Oh, it’s awesome” at the end of the trailer.

It takes time, but one can master the Nic Cage language and understand every half-word he drawls at the first hearing. This talent is excellent for picking up both ladies and dudes.

I made it almost all the way through and thought the flaming piss must have been a joke. I sorta breathed a sigh of relief and then “oh, no, wait…there it is.” I think I liked it better before I knew he could piss fire.

Hey, I really like the song! But I guess it’s not new? Since you had it before the relaunch(?). For shame. Anyway, any cool story behind it?

I think what Cory and Danny have done here is really great. It’s awesome when old chums can get together and make something and the product is actually not a piece of shit, but like…you know, quality.
also, the hashtag ensures the level of sinserity. thanks for that ;)

The Superman Comics, Everybody is the only one that is not poking fun at the character. You sorta glazed over his Dork Age. What about Blue Energy Superman? I know you love Superman, but c’mon!
