Surprisingly sympathetic to the looters, the second picture.
To start with, he doesn’t have a liberated tescos trolley, 3 flatscreen tvs and a half brick on a dog chain.
The situation that sparked the first riot was…
Not valid really, given the protest was supposed to be peaceful and draw attention to the issue at hand.
It was understandable.
Folk were angry.
When the rioters started carrying shopping lists all pretence of any moral standpoint went out of the window along with a bin bag full of mobile phones.
Thing is, I doubt there’s a self congratulatory freedom fighter wanabe out there amongst them now.
There’s far too many facebook pictures of people smiling like jackasses infront of their swag to let even the most dense ‘hero’ fool themselves into thinking this is about anything other than an international freestyle game of supermarket sweep.
