It’s a new day.
You’ve heard the news by now. And when we say “the news”, man, we mean the news.
We had an X-Men: First Class comic planned for today, but then DC went and dropped the mic on us, so hopefully you’ll pardon this going up a little late.
Oh, and I didn’t really kill myself over Superman’s new outfit.
Now onto the other important news! Take it away, Euge…
HeroesCon! HeroesCon!
LBFA Inc., which if you’re not keeping track of is Curt Franklin & Chris Haley of Let’s Be Friends Again and Adam WarRock, will be stationed at table AA-337 at HeroesCon this weekend, June 3-5, in Charlotte, NC. If you want more info on that con, go to the HeroesCon site.
But you probably want to know what WE WILL BE SELLING and stuff. Right? That’s all that’s important. There’ll be Adam WarRock CDs, show poster prints, and t-shirts. There will be LBFA books, prints, and t-shirts. There’ll be free buttons and stuff. Chris will be there sketching things. And most importantly,…

We will have these babies ready to go at our table. What are these? Why they’re some Comics, Everybody! mini-comics & West Coast Avengers Deluxe Mixtapes. You’ve seen both of those things on ComicsAlliance before, and now you can hold them in your hands.

Made with tender love & care by US, the Comics, Everybody! books come in four different versions (Lex Luthor, Hawkman, Hank Pym, Thor), so pick your favorites! The West Coast Avengers Deluxe Mixtape is the renowned mixtape of comic book geekiness, now with bonus, never-before-released tracks “Janet Van Dyne,” “Madelyne Pryor” and the “Hank Pym (Scientific Remix).” Also, the CDs are individually numbered, and Chris (or if you’re feeling nasty, me or Curt) will sketch whatever you want directly on the CD for you. We will have limited supplies of this bundle, so get yours as fast as you can run over that weird dude cosplaying as Wolverine to get to our table. AA-337. Did I mention it’s AA-337?
Tons of bundle deals at our table, plus we will talk to you and do that cool thing where we sort of shake hands, but it turns into a really cool five where we snap our fingers as we release. Totally worth it.
See you guys in Charlotte.

The disturbing thing about the last panel is that Curt had already noticed Chris had hung himself but was too busy playing “Escape the Ski Chalet” to be bothered with calling 911.

well now i wanna see ya’ll do a comic where marvel and DC are having an “8-Mile” style rap battle on top of the GLORY BOAT and actually show DC dropping the mic like a balla!
(and, of course, Adam WarRock would be the host MC)

Great strip -really enjoying your work over recent months, guys. You’ve hit a hell of a groove and I anticipate updates. Penny Arcade of comic book… uh… webcomics?
For some reason I can’t seem to find any images of this new superman costume. So tired of ‘EVERYTHING CHANGES… FOREVER’ events, tho.

I know I shouldn’t be excited, but when I heard the news, I got excited!! I felt like I was 9 years old again!! I’m not in love with the outfits, but I love the fact that Jim Lee is drawing it and I love the fact that Cyborg is on the team.
