The Secret of Flashpoint
Oh god, this would be terrifying. I couldn’t bring myself to live in a world where we ate sandwiches like this. If the choice was sideways sandwich or public ostracization I think I would maybe just eat my sandwiches normal ways in a cave by the beach and live alone forever, just me and my sandwiches.
We did a thing for ComicsAlliance last week where we talk about what it’d be like if Dr. Strange had a TV show. It’s more interesting than that but just go look at it, jeez.

If I can jump in here and further elaborate, this strip actually came from a real conversation in the LBFA office that ended with Curt trying to eat a sandwich sideways like that. I’m not sure how that conversation started or why it made it to the point where I was encouraging him to try eating it like that, but this is the result.
He also ate a donut like this a little later that same day.

so if you’re eating the sandwich vertically were you allowed to turn your head horizontally to eat it? eating a donut would be easier to eat vertically without to much of a difference in head angularity (if any! depending on the girth and toppings of said donut eating it vertically should be a snap! ) but eating a sandwich with all it’s inner,complex,layered meat/cheese/veggie/condiment goodness could prove messy and very food porn-y.

This one made me laugh for about 3 minutes straight, because I remember while reading Flashpoint, thinking how silly every single thing that they thought was so clever actually was. Every time they went for a *GASP!* they got a “sigh…” from me.
