I am just now considering the logistics of letting some of the world’s most famous super villains just HANG THE FUCK OUT on Ground Zero.

Oh god, every time I look at this I laugh my ass off. Beautiful job guys.

But yeah, like Ken Lowery mentioned, WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY HANGING OUT LET ALONE GETTING UPSET ABOUT THIS?

I don’t know about those other dudes, but Wilson Fisk is a humble importer of spices! (I miss the time when this was something he said every time he showed up.)

Doom is crying in that panel for the same reason I’m crying over this strip…we both wish we’d thought of it first.

I remember that issue. that shot of doom quite honostly felt very strong to me. Sure it feels out of character for him; but still.

Didn’t Juggernaut knock down one of the Twin Towers himself in an X-Force/ Spider-man crossover?

Another good comic, guys!! Juggernaut and Magneto are “sort of” on the side of the angels now, so it’s not totally out of character for them in the Spider-Man strip.

While I did like this issue. I did think this part was a bit ridiculous.

I remember read that and shaking my head. Thank you for pointing it out. Marvel sucks.

yeah i remember this. The writer, JMS, didn’t want to write a a special “9-11″ spider-man issue. Marvel pretty much forced him into it. So take it as it is.

@Anakin1138 – That’s interesting to hear, because I had always blamed him for that moment thanks to all the other ridiculously out of character things he had happen during his run.

I remember when this issue came out I was quite touched. In hindsight, I can recognize the garbagey bits but I feel like it did its job at the time.

[...] The common coin of blood and bone I remember finding the whole 'megalomaniacal supervillains draw the line at terrorism, even the ones who are basically terrorists' thing stupid when I read this a few years ago. Magneto, especially (though this might be friendly New Magneto, I honestly can't remember when he goes to the Good Side). (tags: webcomics comics marvel 9/11) [...]
