Some people without brains do an awful lot of talking
If you missed all the hullabaloo, this is what we’re talking about.
Sorry for all the crazy scheduling, LBFA HQ has been a little hectic with things going on behind the scenes.
Secret things.
It’s not up at the moment, but we’re told this new big thing we did for Comics Alliance should be up sometime today, so just go there and keep hitting refresh and sending angry emails until it shows up.
Thanks to everyone who sent us fanart, and if you have some of your own you’d like to contribute, please send it to us!

I’m sure I don’t know what you’re talking about but when I went to the link to find out, it was too long for me and my short attention span. I do like the last panel very much. Keep up the great work! TM&TB

i’m replacing “Kurt Busiek” with “Darwyn Cooke” and “S.H.I.E.L.D.” with “lesbians” and getting a similar comic

I know I say this about like every other thing you’ve drawn, but freaked out Chris may be the best thing you’ve ever drawn.

everyone lauding freaked out Chris is undevaluing teary-eyed Curt, the true sleeper characterization.

Freaked-out Chris is great and all but I think panel 3 Chris should go to the Captain Marvel auditions sometime. He might inch out Patrick Warburton.

It’s worth mentioning that I think Curt and I both agree with most of what Kurt Busiek was saying.
@BoBrasher – I think there’s more to what Darwyn was saying than the simplistic “he hates lesbians” it’s been internetted down to.. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2010/09/01/darwyn-cooke-and-the-lesbians/

@Dylan – We can’t go to the screaming in horror well too often.. just like we can’t go to the pee-hole well often enough.

ahahaha! i sill love that pee-hole one. also, for me it’s a toss up between two very specific things: Chris’s bubble-gum tongue floating in the middle of his mouth in panel 4 or the adorable little ducks in teary curt’s eyes. also, ftw?! curt is smoking?

This may be weird, but when the conversation turned to the idea of “straw man” reasoning I thought for some reason that we might be getting a cameo appearance of the freaky straw Sue Dibney from 52. I also thoroughly enjoyed freaked-out-Chris.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is like reading an acid trip that doesn’t make sense, but I still enjoy it for some reason.
Can’t quite put my finger on why, but this is one of the best-looking comics I’ve seen in a while. Maybe it’s the coloring? Very crisp!
