Step 2: Begin the game by drinking.
Doctor Strange takes advantage of one of the more esoteric rules of Wizard Sticks.
This is pretty much based on a true story with our party being almost as dignified as this.
This also amounts to the completion of our Doctor Strange Trilogy.

I love nothing more than you guys doing Dr. Strange. That’s why I have a sketch of him from Chris!

I just finished powering through your comic tonight, and I just wanted to let you guys know that you rock. I love comics and comics about comics. Also, Dr. Strange + Natty Ice = HILARIOUS.

I have no idea what the wizard aspect of this comic means but I can’t stop laughing. Is that a good thing?

So who won? More importantly, did C-Cov get his staff taller than himself?

Love your stuff guys.
Does the completed trilogy mean we’ll see no more of Doc. Strange? Say it ain’t so!

Just don’t dick around and make a prequel trilogy of Dr. Strange that sucks. Maybe a transition to Brother Voodoo is in order?

I think Pickaxe eyebrows are my favorite comic book facial feature. I’m going to grow some one day.

M2tM – I should post that on here.
Redwood5 – Thanks! Please continue to power through our comics as they happen. I don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m sorry.
Markus – You’re not missing anything. Quidditch is probably a lot more fun.
Robin – Our comic is intended to be enjoyed. How you enjoy it is totally up to you.
Derek- There are no winners in Wizard Sticks.
Kylebasa – Thanks! Probably, but he is fun to draw, so you never know.
Joey – I’m sure we can get some actual wizard stick at SDCC.
JayDub – I think Curt’s agreed to transition to a different mystical dude at my behest.
Hayduke666 – You should never drink more than 2 Red Bulls in a day (says the company that makes them after that dude in France drank 4 and had a heart attack).
Jordjevic – They are pretty awesome.

At first I thought Dr. Strange was wearing a Tron helmet. After reading the comic I realized it was boxes of beers. Then I realized that you could make a Tron helmet out of boxes of beers.

Awesome comic! Although to my knowledge, that Wikipedia article isn’t quite accurate as to the origins of the game or exactly precise about the rules. It says the first recorded game was in 2007 in Van Nuys, but Wizard STAFF (as it is known) has been played at the Indiana University college town of Bloomington, Indiana for several years before that, and gradually was exported across the country as people graduated and moved.
I’m sure someone will come along with more info on the rules that is more knowledgable than I, as well as the exact people who founded it.
