We’re not particularly good at doing such things, but maybe we will try to do a proper write-up of our STAPLE! 2010 experience.
Short version is : Awesome.
Until then, why not look at a few of the sketches I did for people who bought our book?
Click on them to check out larger versions (if you’re into that kind of thing).
If you met us there, please leave a comment or drop us an email, and if you bought our book and I did a sketch in it, please feel free to take and send us a picture of it.
I seriously hope that little kid I drew Deadpool for is reading this. Apparently, little kids love Deadpool.

If you can even believe that such a thing is possible, the good people at Mid-South Con (get ready to see a green ogre when you click on that btw) have invited us to be guests again this year.
This is in spite of or perhaps because of how fantastically drunk we were last year. On a Sunday morning.
Sigh.
Curt’s on a panel about comics with GAIL SIMONE tonight at 10pm! Can you believe that?
I’ll be doing a live art thing at 4pm tomorrow and then we’ll both be on a panel about webcomics and digital something or the other at 10pm on Saturday night.
There will also be a dance party on Saturday night at midnight that will be ballin’ as all hell..

THIS is where the con is being held all weekend, and if you can make it out, please do so, as we would love to see you. Or have you see us. I mean, it’s really whatever you prefer at this point.
Just look for us wandering around if you miss the panels. I’ll be the one dressed like Speed Racer.
As some of you may have witnessed, we were at Mid-South Con (and not ECCC) pretty much all weekend, and though we would have surely loved to have been in Seattle, MSC was a lot of fun too.
I was on a “quick sketch” panel, that involved people shouting out ideas for the artists on said panel to try to draw as quickly as possible with all of the art then going into the charity auction. Here are two of my contributions. (Click for bigger versions.)

Batman with a Green Lantern ring and R2-D2 versus a Dalek.
I hope whoever bought these liked them.
Last week on Twitter, I endeavored to see if between myself, my friends, and online strangers, we could drink 100 beers in one evening. (If you’re on Twitter, feel free to search out the hashtag #100beers to see how it all went down.)
In the midst of this I asked people to “shout” suggestions for me to sketch while drinking.
This was one of them.
It is Blue Devil. With a handlebar moustache.
I hope you are happy, @dwolkin.
