The team-up no one demanded.

If I may quote Joe Martini (aka Martiniman from the comments) (aaka this guy), “A comic about Curt & Chris readin’ comics? Man. No one’s ever done that team-up.”

So, even though “Curt” got back from France last week, Curt didn’t get back until last night, so this is probably the last comic post I’ll do for a while.
Don’t worry, I’m sure Curt will have me back begging for scraps in my cage in the basement next to Little Richard in no time, so it’s okay.

Since this is probably the last post I’ll do for a while, I wanted to say a thing I always mean to say which is : LOOK IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE POST! THERE IS A BLOG THAT I DON’T THINK ANY OF YOU EVER NOTICE!

I also wanted to say that while I was working on this comic, I had to try to find the cover of the second All Star Superman to use in the first panel. While I tried to stay on task, I rather quickly found myself looking at scenes from the series and blubbering over how great both it (specifically) and Superman (in general) were/are.

Anyway, I had to make a thing about it to try to stop crying.
I hope you like it.

@MartiniMan The last issue of Y when Ampersand dies made me well up. I still get emotional thinking about it. There. I admitted to crying over a comic book.

I was introduced to the first trade of All-Star Superman by a friend of mine who’s been making it his mission to educate me on all things comic book. This same person also told me that if I didn’t read LBFA that I WOULD NOT BE HIS FRIEND ANYMORE. I’m currently working through the archives now and I’m so fucking impressed. Seriously guys. THE TITS.

Jeff Pannell – First of all, thank your friend for his zealousness on our behalf. Second of all, it is good to have you join us, because anyone who get blubbery at All Star Superman is all clear to be friends with us.
