But they always pair him up with an amazing artist whose art you don't want to miss a page of. So I keep buying the books fully aware that I'm contributing to the problem. From my perspective, it seems like all the heart went out of Loeb's books after his son got cancer/died. Since then it's just been over-the-top nonsense and violence without any depth or heart. I don't think that we'll ever get another "For All Seasons" out of the guy now. Doesn't seem like he has it in him anymore. It's a shame. Jeph Loeb’s Marvel work has been absolutely terrible.
